Early History of Reflexology

Reflexology Wall Painting

This wall painting, dated 2330 B.C. was found in the tomb of Ankhmahor (who was considered the highest official after the king) and is known as the physician's tomb. The translation of this painting is, "Don't hurt me". The practitioner's reply, "I shall act so you praise me".

The above painting is the earliest record of the practice of Reflexology. This occurred in Egypt over 4000 years ago. More history and information about Reflexology is available in the article, Foot Relexology, Another "Step" Towards Better Health.
