I am working on a method of keeping spam off this board. Spam has become a big problem, forcing me to spend significant time cleaning up the board after a spam attack.

I will probably be going to a membership model where people have to register to use the web board. The board will be password protected. There will be a simple one-time sign-up process where you pick a username and password. You will need to give a valid email address to receive an automatic message verifying your membership.
