I'm an 18 year old student and from the moment of my birth i have had primary lyphadema. Gradually, as the years passed and i got older, my lyphadema progressed from my right foot to my entire right leg. I too had troubles in dealing with it at first, but i soon found out how to affectively treat my affliction. I located a lymph specialist and she was able to perform MLD
(manual lymph dranage) and wrap my leg in bandages. By going in for mld and bandaging my leg i have managed to reduce the swelling in my leg to the point where you can know longer tell the difference between it, and my unaffected one. My life is normal since my treatment and though i have to wrap everyday, i am in no pain. If you have any questions on how to deal with lyphadema, or if you just want to talk, email me. I'm only 18, but i've had 18 years of experience.
